Program Description

Alongside the technology focused modules, students will choose 50% of their degree programme from a wide range of popular and classical music modules. This means students can also study classical or popular music performance, classical or popular music composition, the music industry, or select from a wide range of historical and theoretical options. In Year One core modules look at the foundations of creative music technology, sound, and production. In Years Two and Three students develop their skills in areas such as electronic composition, MAX/MSP, audio visual composition, or sound recording.

At Liverpool, French may be taken from A-level or as a beginner’s language where no previous qualifications in the language are necessary. In the first year Liverpool's vibrant programmes at advanced level will both refresh and extend students' knowledge of French. If the student is a beginner, this fast-moving programme will quickly take them to A-level standard during the course of the first year.
