Program Description

Studying law as 50% of the degree gives students a thorough understanding of the discipline of law and the role of law in regulating society; however law as a Joint (50%) option does not lead to a qualifying law degree. Law is an interesting and important subject for study, involving consideration of notions of justice, relationships with one another and with the state, and the processes for effecting change in society.

When students split their degree between Italian and Law, they will study an Italian language module, at beginners or advanced level, and a cultural module per semester, alongside two other modules in Law. If students combine Italian with a non-language subject, they will spend the Year Abroad in Italy as an assistant in a school, as a student at a university or on a work placement.
