Program Description

If students split their University of Liverpool degree between German and another subject area, they will study a German language module, at beginners or advanced level, and a cultural module per semester, alongside two other modules in the other subject. If students combine German with a non-language subject, they will spend the Year Abroad in a German speaking country as an assistant in a school, as a student at a university or on a work placement.

Media coverage represents the most important method for communicating key issues and developments in most subject areas to the wider world, so Communication and Media makes an excellent partner for 50:50 combinations with another subject. This means that students will find plenty of opportunities for crossover between their other subject and Communication and Media, but students will still study core modules from both. In Communication and Media, the full range of modules will be open to students in Years Two and Three.
