专业介绍

Program Description

University of Liverpool's Chinese Studies programme provides students with the skills to engage fully with China from different dimensions and perspectives, thereby opening the door to truly international employment opportunities. Studying Chinese at 50% will enable students to become fully proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to the language. Students will also deepen their knowledge and understanding of Chinese society and culture. Modules range from learning about ancient Chinese civilization to contemporary Chinese cinema, from Confucius and Laozi to Chairman Mao, from Peking opera to Chinese rock music.

Media coverage represents the most important method for communicating key issues and developments in most subject areas to the wider world, so Communication and Media makes an excellent partner for 50:50 combinations with another subject. This means that students will find plenty of opportunities for crossover between Chinese Studies and Communication and Media, but students will still study core modules from both.
