Program Description

Build a future by studying in the UK, with a pathway course at Kaplan International College (KIC) London. Situated in the world’s top academic city (QS Best Student Cities 2019), the College will prepare students for a university degree, and for a successful career.

Study at one of the most respected international colleges in London, and progress to one of 8 universities, including the University of Bristol.

The University of Bristol is a highly ranked Russell Group university with a fantastic reputation. Students will join a global community of students from more than 150 countries, and enjoy life in one of the UK’s most exciting cities.

Studying a combination of history of art and Italian offers an enriching experience with exciting intellectual challenges and provides a valuable skill set that is ideally tailored to an increasingly globalised workplace.

Italian language and culture have had a lasting impact on Europe. Today, Italy's innovative contributions to design, technology and fashion mean that it is a major global commercial force.

Students will study a combination of language, art history and culture units, spending the third year abroad in an Italian-speaking country on a study or work placement. While abroad, students will refine their skills in a chosen language along with their cultural understanding.

Both departments encourage strong synergy between research and teaching, resulting in a vibrant learning environment for our students as staff respond in their teaching to new developments. All modern languages students benefit from the use of our state-of-the-art multimedia centre.
