Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. Advancement into the intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The Pre-Masters in Business and Social Sciences will introduce students to the world of business and the application/theory of social science in everyday life. They will learn about the different political systems around the world and begin to understand how international issues are connected.

The MSc Entrepreneurial Management & Leadership addresses the global demand for talented entrepreneurs and those working for and managing entrepreneurial ventures. Students will learn how to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills required to engage successfully in entrepreneurial activity, project management and change management.

By the end of the programme, students possess both the mindset and skills to think and act entrepreneurially. From the largest global corporations to more traditional public sector bodies, organisations are looking for such individuals.

Students will have the opportunity to engage with a dynamic innovation ecosystem through business competitions, guest lectures and field visits.

The MSc Entrepreneurial Management & Leadership programme has been designed for those who want a stronger research-based qualification and includes a class on research methods as well as a dissertation.

Classes in Semester 1 cover key elements of entrepreneurship and are shared with students on the MSc Entrepreneurial Innovation & Technology. It's possible to swap between programmes at the start of Semester 2, based on preferences and discussions with tutors.
