Master of Science - Advanced Mechanical Engineering (W56776) (January)

专业介绍

The MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University provides broad, multidisciplinary knowledge across the principal areas of mechanical engineering. It develops students’ ability to apply individual or combined engineering disciplines to solve complex technical problems confidently.

The program covers key areas such as component materials, mechanical design, computational analysis, efficient production processes, and automated or unmanned manufacturing methods. It also emphasises collaboration in a multicultural environment, reflecting the global nature of the engineering industry.

A central component is the Group Design Project, in which students propose and undertake a multidisciplinary engineering project as a team. Project findings are delivered to a panel of experts through a collaborative oral presentation and a technical report. The program’s global and industry-focused approach was developed in consultation with key industry stakeholders.
