The MSc Cyber Security addresses the growing global importance of cyber security, which has emerged as a critical concern due to hacking, malicious code, ransomware attacks and data theft. As online users increase, data creation and collection expand, and businesses become more reliant on digital services, there is a heightened need for strong cyber security practices. With frequent cyber-attacks targeting organisations worldwide, there is significant demand for graduates equipped with the skills to prevent, detect and respond to such incidents. This programme provides the knowledge and practical expertise necessary to contribute to organisational and user safety.

The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) and is recognised as industry standard, offering multiple opportunities to enhance practical experience.
