The MA Games Design at Middlesex University focuses on market insight-driven development and ethical worldbuilding, preparing students to create persuasive, playable prototypes. Students study within MDX Studios’ state-of-the-art facilities, including games labs with high-end NVIDIA hardware and industry-standard software such as Unreal Engine. The Motion Capture studio supports industry-level VFX and virtual production, while the Kit Hub provides professional cameras, sound recording equipment, and VR headsets. Partnerships with Canon, Sony, and AVID ensure access to the latest creative technologies. The program also fosters connections with the creative industries and local community through collaborations with Screen London.
