This course addresses the need for creative professionals who possess IT skills, digital fabrication skills, simulation software skills, or the ability to design custom-software development tools in order to solve unique design problems. The multidisciplinary approach employed by the course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to discover innovative computational methods for application in the creative and design industries. Specifically, the course focuses on form-finding using parametric and generative methods, preparing digital information for thorough analysis, and integrating the principles of digital fabrication into the initial stages of design.
