Program Description

For students who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at City, University of London. The course length is determined mainly by English language level (UKVI IELTS score).

Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take additional modules designed to improve one or more of their English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.

Master of Science - Renewable Energy and Power Systems Management

This Masters in Renewable Energy (MSc) course has been designed for both practising engineers and those considering a career in engineering. It will provide students with an in-depth insight into the technical workings, management and economics of the electrical power industry.

This Masters in Renewable Energy (MSc) programme has been designed to meet the industrial demand for the training and education of both existing and future engineers in the advanced concepts of sustainable electrical power and energy generation. The aims are to produce graduates of a high calibre with the right skills and knowledge who will be capable of leading teams involved in the operation, control, design, regulation and management of power systems and networks of the future.
