This course, accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), provides an excellent opportunity to improve students' current technical portfolio with a spectrum of engineering operations and project management skills. As a result, students will enhance their employment prospects and their ability to apply for senior engineering management roles.

This course examines the elements of a successful engineering business and how to find solutions to critical engineering management problems. Using management techniques and resource optimisation, students will be able to boost operations, productivity and competitiveness.

Students will learn to develop and manage projects effectively and use e-commerce and IT to expand a business. Activities include interactive lectures, problem-based learning, laboratory work, team building and case studies.
