Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the University of Surrey International Study Centre followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Surrey. In your Pre-Masters programme you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

Pre-Masters

The Engineering Pre-Masters programme provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to postgraduate degree study in a related field at the University of Surrey. During the programme students will study a core unit of general subject skills and subject-specific units, which are carefully designed for your academic development.

English for Pre-Masters

The English Language Preparation program is available for students who need to improve their English language skills in order to reach the required level for your programme at the Unviersity of Surrey International Study Centre. After successful completion of the English language program, you will advance into your Pre-Masters programme

Degree Program

Upon completion of the pathway portion of this program, you will enter the Structural Engineering program at the University of Surrey. You will be introduced to a variety of transferable skills, and will study several different topics, including analysis and codified design in the specialised areas of structural engineering. The skills you learn at the University of Surrey will help you become an inspired global professional.
