Program Description

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. Advancement into the intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The Pre-Masters in Business and Social Sciences will introduce students to the world of business and the application/theory of social science in everyday life. They will learn about the different political systems around the world and begin to understand how international issues are connected.

The MSc Autism provides a critical understanding of the conceptual frameworks relevant to understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This Masters-level course enables students to understand complex cognitive and affective theories essential to supporting the autism profile.

This knowledge will enable students to translate theory into practice and to critically evaluate evidence-based approaches to intervention. Strathclyde's philosophy that autistic people require a holistic approach throughout their life journey means students can draw upon experiences of their multi-professional student cohort. Students include leading professionals, students on the spectrum and those with dual professional-parental experiences. Their learning will be inspired from input provided by internationally respected autism experts.
