The Level 6 Pre-Master’s Programme (PMP) is a two-semester programme, with guaranteed progression to a wide range of Master’s degrees at Loughborough University.

This Pre-Master’s Programme (PMP) is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. The PMP will allow them to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that they will need during their Master's degree studies. They will study academic modules relating to their chosen progression route. Each semester consists of thirteen teaching weeks, one reading week, and an assessment week. The weekly hours of study varies by semester with them on average studying around 18-21 (and up to 21) hours per week. Each module will have an assessment schedule, which will be completed by the end of the appropriate semester. Assessments will be designed to demonstrate learning across the individual modules of the programme and to allow them to experience a wide range of the assessment methods used in United Kingdom postgraduate programmes. Assessments will include coursework, essays, reports and other structured assignments, oral examination and unseen written examinations.

Master of Science - Sport Marketing:

The Master of Science - Sport Marketing programme has been designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the latest sport marketing and business management techniques, providing them with the skills needed to address associated challenges in the most effective way. They will discover how to create successful sport marketing strategies using market research, targeted marketing techniques and marketing communications knowledge, as well as project management and campaign monitoring skills. Alongside teaching of sports marketing theory and practice, as part of the course they will gain hands-on experience of project planning and industry collaboration, through practical modules such as the Collaborative Project.
