The Level 6 Pre-Master’s Programme (PMP) is a two-semester programme, with guaranteed progression to a wide range of Master’s degrees at Loughborough University.

This Pre-Master’s Programme (PMP) is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. The PMP will allow them to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that they will need during their Master's degree studies. They will study academic modules relating to their chosen progression route. Each semester consists of thirteen teaching weeks, one reading week, and an assessment week. The weekly hours of study varies by semester with them on average studying around 18-21 (and up to 21) hours per week. Each module will have an assessment schedule, which will be completed by the end of the appropriate semester. Assessments will be designed to demonstrate learning across the individual modules of the programme and to allow them to experience a wide range of the assessment methods used in United Kingdom postgraduate programmes. Assessments will include coursework, essays, reports and other structured assignments, oral examination and unseen written examinations.

The Master of Science - Construction Project Management with Building Information Modelling is for those who wish to excel in the new digitalised construction sector. It combines the technical and managerial sides of the discipline while providing a digital approach to construction project processes and challenges using digital tools, platforms and underlying processes within Building Information Modelling. This programme is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) subject to conditions, having been judged to meet the CIOB Education Framework.
