The MSc Entrepreneurship at Regent’s University London is a postgraduate degree designed to develop students’ ability to identify opportunities, develop innovative business ideas and create or grow ventures in a rapidly changing business environment. The programme explores both the practical and theoretical aspects of entrepreneurship, including entrepreneurial mindsets, opportunity recognition, business model development, innovation, creativity, problem-solving and the psychological and cognitive dimensions of entrepreneurship. Students consider a range of venture models, from start-ups and high-growth businesses to family businesses, creative organisations and entrepreneurial activities within established companies.

The programme takes a practical, collaborative and internationally focused approach to entrepreneurship. Students work on hypothetical and real-world business challenges, test and refine ideas, develop scalable business models, and learn how to communicate their vision to potential stakeholders and industry partners. Core subjects include Entrepreneurial Mindsets and Opportunity Recognition, Developing Business Models, Marketing, Finance and Scaling the Venture, Leadership and Growth in Entrepreneurship, and Professional Perspectives. Students also complete a Final Major Project, which may involve research, solving a practical business problem, creating an artefact, or developing a project related to their future career or a new venture. The programme also provides opportunities to work with real brands, interact with London’s start-up community and build an international network of entrepreneurs.

The MSc prepares graduates for entrepreneurial and management careers across both private and public sector organisations, as well as for launching or developing their own businesses. Potential career paths include business development management, project management, change management, management analysis, management consulting, social enterprise management, organisational development and business ownership. The programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and students may opt to register for an additional Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice. The MSc is offered full-time over 12 months for September starters or 16 months for January starters, with the longer duration resulting from the summer break between terms.
