For entry to a postgraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

Master of Arts - Sound Design for Screen

The first UK university to offer an MA in Sound Design, providing a blend of practical and theoretical learning to develop the creative, technical and collaborative skills students need to work professionally in the film, TV, games and VR industries. Graduate from an International Moving Image Society (IMIS) accredited degree, awarded to practice-based courses that best prepare students for a career in the industry. On this course students will be taught by a range of staff with relevant expertise and knowledge appropriate to the content of the unit. This will include senior academic staff, qualified professional practitioners, demonstrators, technicians and research students. Students will also benefit from regular guest lectures from industry.
