The MSc in Applied Acoustics offers a top-up route for professional acousticians to achieve a highly regarded master’s degree through distance learning. Entry requires completion of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma in Acoustics. The programme can be studied full-time or part-time at a leading centre with over 30 years of experience delivering acoustics courses, providing a recognised qualification that enhances career prospects within the profession.

The course builds on foundational acoustics knowledge, equipping students with high-level skills to review various methods of noise assessment and control. Interdisciplinary approaches are applied to solve acoustic problems, drawing on real-world case studies.
