The MA Interior Environment Design at the University of West London equips students with the creative and professional skills needed to become part of the next generation of design professionals.

Interior design is a dynamic field that bridges architecture, art and design, and the course encourages students to explore how commercial, social and political factors influence form and function in creating innovative interior spaces. Students will investigate how these elements contribute to both temporary and permanent environments in constructed and virtual contexts.

Students will analyse a wide range of interiors to identify design opportunities and develop solutions that enhance people’s lives. They will also examine how interior design impacts broader spatial environments and engage in consultancy projects with industry partners.

As the course progresses, students will build their portfolio and develop their understanding through practical projects, culminating in a final project or dissertation that reflects their creative and professional growth.
