The program provides practical experience in professional recording, mixing, and spatial audio studios in London’s dynamic creative environment. Students learn advanced techniques in studio production, sound design, and immersive audio for music, film, and live events, while accessing industry-standard facilities and AI-enhanced tools. Professional connections are fostered through placements, industry briefs, and guest lectures from practicing audio producers.

The program emphasizes ethical, inclusive, and sustainable approaches to sound production and is supported by Middlesex University’s Careers and Futures hub, which offers tailored employability guidance and freelance support. One- and two-year study modes are available, featuring embedded, credit-bearing work experience on real-world industry projects to enhance professional readiness.

The course is delivered within MDX Studios’ state-of-the-art facilities, including studios for film, radio, digital media, VFX, animation, and virtual production, as well as recording studios, post-production and editing suites, color grading, and Pro Tools.
