Master of Science - Spatial Planning and Development

专业介绍

The MSc Spatial Planning and Development program, accredited by the RTPI and RICS, serves as an optimal starting point for individuals pursuing a career as a planner or surveyor. This program aims to enhance and refine core planning and development skills applicable to various spatial scales. It equips students with theoretical knowledge, critical insight, and practical abilities necessary to achieve their professional aspirations and make positive contributions to planning and development practices and policies, both in the UK and internationally.

The field of planning and development often operates within diverse societies, which may be characterized by inequalities and injustices. Consequently, it becomes a subject of debate and struggle. Recognizing this, our program not only focuses on developing specialized skills but also emphasizes the cultivation of professional judgment and sensitivity towards broader ethical, political, and environmental challenges. Aim to empower students to question existing norms, challenge their own thinking, and form and express independent conclusions.
