Master of Arts - Concept Art

专业介绍

The MA Concept Art course equips students with advanced creative and technical skills to reach professional standards in the field. Participants build a commercial‑quality personal portfolio that demonstrates contemporary practices in the games, film, and animation industries. The programme encourages critical and contextual understanding of concept art, its audiences, and its role within today’s media culture.

Students develop expertise in research, creative ideation, project planning, and management, supported by optional technical training through undergraduate skills modules. Home students can choose to study fully on campus or partly online. The course enables specialisation in areas such as character or environment design, or a broader practice across concept art disciplines.

Specialist modules run alongside shared postgraduate media modules, including options from MA Animation and MA Games Art and Design. Each student is assigned a personal tutor who offers ongoing academic and professional guidance, helping them refine their portfolios and prepare for future career opportunities.
