This programme is specifically designed to provide students with:

• Comprehensive Financial and FinTech Knowledge: Discuss state-of-the-art financial principles, theories, and technological developments while applying technical proficiency to address financial issues and create innovative solutions.
• Technical and Analytical Expertise: Build and utilise advanced technical skills, programming languages, and data analytics to develop financial applications and make data-driven decisions in the evolving digital landscape.
• Leadership and Professional Competency: Demonstrate leadership, independence, and entrepreneurial skills in steering FinTech projects, adhering to ethical standards and professional codes of conduct in the financial industry.
• Effective Communication and Lifelong Learning: Communicate complex financial ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders, foster strong interpersonal relationships, and integrate lifelong learning to adapt to dynamic global challenges.

Students who are under Bachelor’s Degree Programme will have the option to opt-in for the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Under this Scheme, students will receive 2 Degree Certificates and Transcripts upon graduation: 1 from Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia and 1 from De Montfort University (DMU), UK.
