专业介绍

In the Bachelor of Arts Communication Studies major at University of South Dakota, students will develop their speaking, listening, critical thinking, problem solving, research and technology-guided communication skills that will benefit every part of their life – personal relationships, professional opportunities and public leadership. This program encourages them to follow their curiosity and find answers to questions like, "How does social media shape their communication?" and, "How can they improve their relational skills and become a more effective communicator?"

At University of South Dakota, students will take dynamic classes, get involved in internships or undergraduate research, and join a community of lifelong learners. Whether they want to pursue a career in government, education, sales, marketing, human resources, politics or another field, this program can set them up for success.

Through the communication studies major, students will explore how humans communicate and behave. With exciting and topical classes covering everything from persuasion to science communication, this program will help students learn about relationships, organizations and societies as they gain a variety of marketable skills.
