专业介绍

The Bachelor of Science in Economics is a STEM program that prepares students for careers in business, finance, national, state, and local government, public and private research organizations, and nonprofit organizations.

Students will develop competencies (i.e., grounding in economic theory and critical thinking) and the ability to apply a broad set of tools (i.e., data analysis, visualization, and written communication and presentation ability) to solve real-world economic and social problems.

The business core courses provide students with a modern integrated business curriculum that includes broad exposure to each of the functional areas of business (accounting, finance, management and marketing) to accompany the solid foundation in economics all of which provides them with the opportunity to work in many different careers.

This program will prepare students for careers in occupations such as entry-level economist, quantitative analyst, business analyst, financial analyst, regional planner, manager, and research analyst.
