Northeastern University’s MS in Pharmaceutical Engineering program is interdisciplinary program from the Department of Chemical Engineering and the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Northeastern University.

Through coursework and experiential learning, it prepares engineers with advanced skills in pharmaceutical design, manufacturing process engineering, and regulatory issues to meet the biotechnology industry's evolving needs.

The program focuses on current biopharmaceutical research—the fastest-growing segment of pharmaceuticals—and covers relevant topics like mRNA. Students will also understand Quality by Design (QbD) and its significance in FDA review.
