The Custom MBA concentration provides students with the flexibility to create their own MBA focus based on their unique career goals. This degree is ideal if students want to combine a set of electives that are tailored to the precise skill set their need to advance in their career, or if they have multiple interests that they would like to combine. If students do not declare a specific concentration at the beginning of the program, they will be assigned the Custom MBA concentration.

In this concentration:

• Students have the freedom to choose any four Kellstadt elective courses to earn the Custom MBA concentration after completing their core MBA courses.
• Electives are available in a wide range of subjects and disciplines, from accountancy, finance, economics and real estate, to management, marketing and hospitality leadership.
• Academic advisors are available to help students design their course of study to meet their career goals.​​

Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

• Use analytical and problem-solving skills in decision-making.
• Apply knowledge about the differences among global economies, institutions, and cultures to understand the implications these have on global management.
• Recognize and analyze ethical and legal problems within applied business situations, choose a resolution, and justify that ethical choice.
• Effectively contribute to the performance of a group as the group addresses practical business situations, and assume a leadership role as appropriate.
• Produce a coherent written statement and oral presentation of the analysis of a complex business issue.
• Acquire broad-based knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their professional goals.
