专业介绍

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics and economics department offer a joint program that will lead to a BSc Major in Financial Mathematics and Economics. This program provides students with a strong foundation in the mathematical, quantitative and analytical skills that underlying advanced financial analysis.

Students completing the program will have excellent preparation for careers and graduate studies in modern financial analysis, risk management and actuarial science. Students are required to take a selected combination of courses from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and economics department.

Students learn how to analyze finances and manage portfolios. They study theories of economics, finance, statistics and mathematics. They create models to understand and predict the behaviour of financial markets.
