专业介绍

Statistics is the science of learning from data, and of measuring, controlling, and communicating uncertainty; and it thereby provides the navigation essential for controlling the course of scientific and societal advances (M. Davidian and T. A. Louis, Science, April 6, 2012). On the other hand, probability forms the mathematical foundation for development of statistical methods, and computational tools provide for the implementation of these methodologies. Statisticians work involves collecting data, exploring data with the aim of extracting information, and building models that incorporate variability and assess the level of uncertainty with the aim of discovery and prediction.

Statisticians play crucial roles in different areas of business and finance, including predicting financial market fluctuations, developing market strategies, and estimating unemployment rates. Additionally, researchers in a number of disciplines such as education, psychology, sociology, and engineering constantly seek statistical expertise in solving their multi-layered, and complicated data-analytical projects.

Students in the Probability and Statistics concentration in the Mathematics Department at CSUF would benefit from one or more of the following program goals: (1) To equip students with the knowledge of probability theory in order to understand and properly apply statistical methodology. (2) To offer courses that will teach students state-of-the art statistical methods and statistical software and prepare them to join the workforce in industry, government, business, or education. (3) To prepare students with a level of knowledge required to continue their studies in graduate programs in statistics or related fields.

This Guaranteed Outcome Program guarantees admission to a Top universities. Students first enroll at California State University, Fullerton where they will take undergraduate degree courses alongside American students. Kings staff are on campus to support students at all times.

Student have 3 options to choose from during the 4 year bachelor degree

Option 1: After completing Year 1, students can choose to stay at California State University and complete the remaining 3 years at the same campus. This is an ideal option if a student would prefer to stay on the same campus for the whole of your degree, is seeking a flexible pathway to a reputable public university degree, want the most cost-effective degree, and is looking for a less research-based university.

Option 2: After completing Year 1, student have the option to choose from 23 campuses for degree transfer.

Option 3: After 2 years at Cal State Fullerton, students can transfer to complete their degree at the University of California or another Top 100 US university.

King's expert university advisors will help students develop their student profile, making the transfer process straightforward. Upon successful transfer to a university, students will complete their degree at said university.
