The Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport Management at the H-E-B School of Business and Administration prepares students for positions of leadership in professional sport franchises, collegiate athletics and nonprofit sport organizations.

Students choose the Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport Management program because it provides the opportunity to work in a management, executive or academic setting in the exciting world of sports. The program develops competencies related to working in nonprofit foundations as well as various community outreach programs and other nonprofit amateur sports organizations.

Students in the Sport Management program develops a deep understanding of the sophisticated aspects of the business of sport and its many facets, including marketing and communications, consumer research, organizational management and facilities management.

Professionals with this program have a variety of career paths from which to choose. Using the management, entrepreneurial, marketing and nonprofit skills learned through the HEBSBA sport management program, graduates are prepared to pursue positions across the spectrum of athletic organizations.
