专业介绍

Want to know how to answer questions like:

• Are guns more dangerous than swimming pools?
• Why do drug dealers live with their moms?
• Is it more dangerous to drive drunk or walk drunk?

Economists study questions like these, and more mundane questions like why the price of gasoline goes up and down and what can be done to improve the economy. The Department of Economics at Wichita State University gives you insight into how the world around you actually works. Studying economics is an excellent preparation for careers in business, law, public service and many other fields.
