The master’s programme equips students with specialist management and finance knowledge needed to grow and sustain start-up and scale-up businesses. Delivered in the heart of London’s start-up ecosystem, it develops the skills and mindset required to lead businesses and guide new ventures towards financial success.

Business growth and sustainability depend on robust financial planning and a clear understanding of how business decisions may affect future financial performance. The programme therefore examines management and finance as interconnected areas, while also providing an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship and the innovation process.

Students explore the key financial considerations affecting small and emerging businesses, including funding, pitching, accounting and disruptive technologies. The programme also develops an understanding of how financial strategies can support innovation, growth and long-term organisational performance.

A strong practical focus enables students to work with current tools and software used to assess market needs, analyse financial performance, and monitor and evaluate company results. They apply these skills through an in-depth collaborative project based on contemporary briefs from organisations such as Monzo and IBM.
